Historical interpretation

The field is guaranteed by the Organ and Historical Interpretation Department

Since its inception, a number of experts in this field have already been educated in this field. During its development, the field has reached a format in which theoretical, practical and applied courses are represented and well interconnected. Therefore, the teachers of theoretical courses are well aware of the practical art projects in which students participate and they are thus able to utilise immediate practical knowledge in theoretical teaching.

“Advanced mastery of the instrument

– developed knowledge of the repertoire and aesthetic possibilities of the instrument

– master the basic principles of pedagogical work

– are familiar with contemporary trends in pedagogy and psychology.”

After successfully completing his/her studies the graduate is able to:

  • A soloist performing with an orchestra;
  • a soloist organising his or her own recitals;
  • player of baroque or historical orchestra in the Czech Republic and abroad;
  • a leader or member of chamber ensembles;
  • teacher at art schools, conservatories and music grammar schools, universities of arts or pedagogy.

Graduate can work in various chamber groups, hold the position of church organists, accompany instrumentalists and singers, teach at art schools and conservatories.

The study plan consists of compulsory, elective and optional courses and of compulsory artistic study outputs.

Student musí získat 60 kreditů za každý rok studia a ukončit studium státní závěrečnou zkouškou z vybraných předmětů, obhajobou absolventského výkonu a obhajobou bakalářské práce.
