The admission procedure for a given academic year is carried out at both faculties of JAMU in accordance with Act No.111/1998 Coll. and the relevant internal regulations of the school and faculties. In the admissions procedure, the talent and study prerequisites of applicants for the chosen study programme are determined. The members of the admission committees are experienced teachers and experts in the field with many years of teaching and artistic experience.
Both faculties accept applicants for the Bachelor’s degree and for the non-continuing (long) Master’s degree (the condition for most study programmes is the completion of secondary school studies culminating in the matriculation examination), for the Master’s follow-up study (the condition is the completion of the same or a related Bachelor’s degree programme) and for the Doctoral degree (the condition is the completion of the Master’s degree in the same or a related study programme).
The study programmes offered, specific admission requirements, application deadlines and entrance examination dates are set by the faculties of JAMU for a given academic year.
