Information about accommodation
The accommodation centre has a capacity of 191 beds. It has 51 triple rooms and 19 double rooms.
As of 1 November 2019, 191 students are accommodated in the dormitory. The majority are students of JAMU Brno, BUT, Masaryk University and the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.
Accommodation prices for the academic year 2022/2023:
- 3,000 CZK including VAT per month in a triple room (two rooms in the unit).
- 3,300 CZK including VAT per month in a triple room (self contained room).
- 3,500 CZK including VAT per month in a double room (two rooms in the unit).
The guest is obliged to pay laundry fees (see documents – dormitory rules). The dormitory fee is paid by a non-cash transfer in the form of direct debit.
PAYMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL WASTE FEE
The obligation to pay the municipal waste fee also applies to all foreigners who stay in the territory of Brno for more than 90 days.
This local fee is independent from the dormitory fee. You can find all information or request it on the website of the City of Brno.
Parking
Seeing as the Astorka is located in the historical centre of Brno, it is not possible to park directly at the building.
