The accommodation centre has a capacity of 191 beds. It has 51 triple rooms and 19 double rooms.
As of 1 November 2019, 191 students are accommodated in the dormitory. The majority are students of JAMU Brno, BUT, Masaryk University and the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno.
The guest is obliged to pay laundry fees (see documents – dormitory rules). The dormitory fee is paid by a non-cash transfer in the form of direct debit.
Payment of the municipal waste fee
The obligation to pay the municipal waste fee also applies to all foreigners who stay in the territory of Brno for more than 90 days. This local fee is independent from the dormitory fee. You can find all information or request it on the website of the City of Brno.

Summer Hotel
From 1 July until 30 September 2020, we provide accommodation in double and triple rooms using a unit-based system.
The total capacity of the summer hotel is 51 triple-bed and 19 double-bed units.
One unit always consists of a spacious entrance hall, bathroom with a toilet and two rooms equipped with refrigerator and Internet connection for your own computer.
There are two catering options: You can use the dormitory kitchens with the necessary furnishing on each floor or visit the restaurant on the ground floor (it is not run by the Astorka hotel, i.e. it is leased out to a tenant).

Prices and financing options
Accommodation prices for the academic year 2022/2023:
- 3000 CZK including VAT per month in a triple room (two rooms in the unit).
- 3300 CZK including VAT per month in a triple room (self contained room).
- 3500 CZK including VAT per month in a double room (two rooms in the unit).

Financing options
Accommodation grant
The student is entitled to receive an accommodation grant if all of the following conditions are met:
- he or she is a student of bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctoral study programme in the full-time form of study;
- he or she did not exceed the standard time limit set for any of the study programmes in which he or she is enrolled concurrently;
- he or she does not have a permanent residence in the district in which the school is located.
